Located in the heart of the Peace Country,

have led the city to what it is, oil and gas always
being what we are known for.
Forestry has played a major part in our economy in
the past, and will for years to come. While many forestry
based communities have been devastated by harvest
cutbacks and international competition, Fort St. John's
relatively young industry still has room to grow.
